Thrifty Package

The picture on the right shows how the NP1 battery and the Black Box Video 5 Channel Video Receiver fits behind the Monitor in the bag (the Mk 1 Receiver is shown in this picture - your Thrifty Package will actually have the smaller Mk 2 Receiver)

Quite a nice ad for Hawk-Woods NP-29 Ni-Cad batteries!  Although it is not included in the price, we can supply them and a compact fast charger if you wish - or contact Hawk-Woods yourself

Powering The Thrifty Package

Although we assume the NP1 Battery system as standard (see here), you can use any nominal 12v battery to power The Thrifty Package so long as it will fit in the KATA Bag

If you prefer you can power The Thrifty Package with a V-Lock Battery - we'll provide a V-Lock plate instead of the NP1 Clip Adapter

The V-Lock powering version adds £50 to the price

We're quoting here a "guide price" which would be the price for The Thrifty Package as detailed above/here

but this can vary according to the exact components you choose, and if you are powering with a V-Lock Battery rather than an NP1 Battery

Following on from the huge success of the original - THE PACKAGE - we have worked hard to produce a much more affordable version,
and we are pleased to present our latest version of

THE THRIFTY PACKAGE

The Thrifty Package also works straight out of the box!

Just supply an NP1 type battery and off you go......

The monitor -

The original version of The Thrifty Package used an earlier model of the Roadstar Monitor;  this became obsolete quite quickly and we moved on to the Roadstar LCD 7310 SIL

We recently decided that we preferred the DataVideo TLM-700 Monitor that we had chosen for The Package, and that is the one we are now offering as part of The Thrifty Package, and upon which the guide price is based

For more detailed information and specifications for both Monitors, click here as appropriate:
