BATTERY VOLT LED |

|
| |
The red LED glows bright with a fresh battery and gradually dims as the voltage reduces.
At 8 Volts the LED will be normal brightness and by 7 Volts it will be very dim, indicating the battery should be changed. By 6 Volts the LED will be completely out.
The power consumption of the LED is insignificant as it is a special ultra high efficiency type.
It’s current consumption is about 1mA so an UltraLife battery would run the LED for about 1,800 hours! |
