We apologise profusely for keeping you waiting so
long for our new, Mark 4 version of our popular and highly
successful 863 MHz Foldback System (as you probably recall, we were
forced to stop production of the previous version due to some
essential parts becoming unexpectedly obsolete about eighteen months ago)
Thankfully, although it has taken a while, we
have now found highly suitable replacements and after a complete
re-design, we can now offer you our splendid new |
|
| |
|
|

|
|

The standard supplied frequency is
863.625 MHz but it will be possible to supply three other channels
to special order
ie: 863.125 864.500 and
864.875
all four frequencies can be used at the same time
The new Mk 4 863 Foldback system
is mono, as most of you told us that you would prefer to have a mono
than a stereo system
With the Mk 4 units, practically
every (particularly with the Receiver) is now plug-in for easy
replacement - no soldering required - so you could fix things in the
field yourself without having to return the unit to us for repair |

The
new
Mk 4 UHF 863 MHz Foldback Transmitter
is much, much smaller (by almost a third) and lighter than
previous versions, which the inset photo proves:
Is that amazing, or what? |
|
| |
|
|
| |

Despite the fact it has shrunk and lost weight, the
new Transmitter is housed in a very robust die cast case with a
tough, attractive black crackle-finish with nicely curvaceous
corners
Although the system is mono, you can still feed
stereo or 2 track mono (or left or right channels) into the
Transmitter and it will combine the feeds without combining the
original signals
As before, the unit is powered from 12 Volts via a
Hirose 4 pin socket and we have (very thoughtfully and generously,
we think) given you a second Hirose 4 pin socket to daisy chain
power to other equipment |
|
| |
Audio quality is, we reckon, our best yet - probably
too good for most Directors! A 2:1
compander achieves a 100 dB dynamic range - absolutely no background
noise |
|
| |
|
|
| |
The aerial is our well proven short rugged, high
performance design with BNC connection |
|
The power switch is a short toggle with cyan LED
indicator |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
An adjustable modulation level control allows you to
set the Transmitter up precisely for your system |
|
No need for a separate Power Booster with the Mk 4
Transmitter! |
|
| |
|
|
|
|
| |
And probably the best news is that, despite all these
new advantages and new small size, the price remains the same as
before: |

The new
Mk 4 UHF 863 MHz Foldback Receiver
is powered by a single PP3 type battery and the power switch is again
our popular short toggle with a cyan battery level indicator
The volume control is a very high quality knurled
knob machined from solid metal - positioned on the side of the unit
for easy use (so much better than the previous push button switch) |

Headphones connect via a standard stereo mini jack,
giving mono sound in both earpieces |

A red LED shows carrier being received OK

The short, robust aerial connects via a BNC socket |

The whole unit is housed in a robust yet lightweight
die cast case with sexy rounded corners and a tough, attractive
crackle finish |

As with the new Transmitter, we are sure you will be
pleased to learn that we have been able to provide these improvements
at the same price as before |
