The new Time Code system is designed to transmit time code from a camera to a recorder using a reliable and robust UHF link,
operating at 434.075 MHz

It is narrow band and crystal controlled for high immunity to interference

434 MHz Self Powered Time Code Receiver (copyright Black Box Video) The small, light UHF Time Code Self Powered Receiver module is built into a diecast box and powered from a PP3 or MN1604 type battery with a long battery life, or via a Hirose 4 pin socket - the unit will switch automatically

There is a sunlight-visible battery indicator cyan-coloured LED

The red LED - also sunlight visible - indicates "carrier being received" and the brightness of this LED now indicates the signal strength rather than just being on or off, which gives a better indication when you are nearing the edge of range

Data output is from a BNC socket on the side of the unit

This Receiver is virtually immune to interference from nearby frequencies (such as TETRA, cranes, garage door openers, etc)

The old locking toggle switch has GONE!  (too many mole-wrench related breakages!) and we now have a very nice, neat, short toggle on/off switch
